Beautiful Bluebonnets

The wildflowers, particularly the bluebonnets, have been beautiful around here lately. Of course we weren't going to miss a photo op, so we enjoyed a warm and breezy afternoon playing in the flowers.

A couple of hams

She loves attention

My mom just recently found out that picking
bluebonnets isn't illegal. If this would have
been me as a child it would have called for
corporal punishment. She takes her old wives
tales very seriously.

All of these, yes I mean ALL, are sitting in a
pretty vase in Kinsley's room

What outing is complete without the traditional
picture of Nina. She didn't want to leave her out
and she took such care in posing her.

*** Disclaimer*** I AM HUGE
Can someone please tell me why my face, among
other things, has quadrupled in size over the past month?
The baby is the size of a pepper.

Okay, time to go

Bunny Pics

These are some of the girl's Easter pictures. I opted for these this year instead of the traditional Easter Bunny photos. I ended up spending about the same amount of $ and I didn't have to wait in line at the mall for 30min. I think they turned out pretty cute.

Go Panthers!!!

Kinsley has several friends on a soccer team this year including her best boyfriend Tristan.
So Saturday I loaded the kids up bright and early (10am is bright and early for a pregnant mom with a 2 small kids) and we headed out to the soccer fields. Tristan's mommy made Kinsley an adorable shirt to help her show her panther/Tristan pride and she was so proud to wear it.
The game was hilarious and entertaining! Most of the kids are only 3 so I got a kick out of the goalie who had his blankie tied to the goal and kept having to take breaks to kiss his mom and chase butterflies. There were meltdowns, kids who got tired and had to sit down, and a lot of confusion from the kids on where to kick the ball. Basically, everything you'd expect from a 3 year old's soccer game. Kinsley had a blast and has been begging Doug to teach her how to play soccer. Funny, how she instinctively knows not to ask me.

Good job Tristan and the rest of the Panthers! We can't wait to catch another game soon!

Watch out Samantha, I hear that when you're a soccer mom first comes the cute homemade shirts then comes the minivan!

Kinsley even got some of the team snack

Need I say more

Kinsley kept trying to sit close to Tristan and
he kept scooting down the bench

Tristan's famous bear hug

How cute are these two!
